Thank you for coming, Carol. I hope you enjoy ‘Wilderness’, and I look forward to hearing about your own writing.

Thank you so much, it was really interesting to hear three different Substack journeys in the first year (even if Zoom did decide to 'unexpectedly quit' on me part way through). I was good to know that it is about constantly reviewing and refining what you write about and what you offer.

Thank you, that’s very kind and helpful. Think my computer was just having a hissy fit for a few minutes.

Thank you Camilla, and thank you for coming. Sorry you had Zoom issues! I'm always happy to have feedback if there's something you want to know more about, or that I'm not covering and it would be useful for you.

I finally watched it. Not only did I enjoy it (although I think somebody might have been asleep), but I also learned a lot about how organised and productive you, Emma, and Katherine are. The most important thing it taught me is not to allow myself to be sidetracked by the demands of others.

Thank you, Sally, I'm glad it was helpful. If it's who I think you're talking about, the person with their eyes closed had just had an operation on her eyes, so I was very surprised and honoured that they came! But you know, so tempting to have a little snooze and not to say other people weren't having a nap! I'm not sure if you've had a chance to watch my Masterclass The Writer's Path? Part I has lots of tips on being productive - they've helped me! And Part II out today has some thoughts right at the end about what kind of person you are, a people pleaser, for instance, and how the impacts on our writing and creativity. Agreed, though, it is hard not be sidetracked by other people's demands.
